Our client is looking for a Data Modeler who can also assist with data analysis for a new project that will consolidate their ordering and resulting systems.
This person will be responsible for the data modeling using Erwin. This person should have experience creating the logical structures and then they will pass this information along to a DBA who will develop the physical structures. This person will also be responsible for data analysis and data mapping. This person will profiles data from different sources and determine whether and how data can support business and data requirements of its intended use.
Knowledge of ETL process and tooling. The candidate will deliver standardized data element definitions and descriptions with a goal of enterprise MDM definition and data integration and will maintain the enterprise data model based on individual subject area models. Knowledge of modeling conventions for both data (data models) and process (data flow diagrams and process models) and is required.
Detailed knowledge of Master Data Management is needed. This person will participate in data strategy which transforms data assets into enterprise data warehouse, enabling the business and analytics resources to turn data into information intelligence.
